Detailed Itinerary:

Arrival - Airport Pickup

Upon your arrival to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be welcomed by our guide/ driver who will transfer you to your booked accommodation of your choice in Nairobi. This day is set aside for you to relax at your hotel and get over jetlag that might have come with the long flight as you prepare for your safari that starts the next day.

Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara Game Reserve from Nairobi

Early morning after your our breakfast, our guide/driver will pick you up from your booked accommodation. You will be briefed on your day’s travel then transferred to Masai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy a 5 hour’s drive through scenic views of the Nairobi suburbs, beautiful savannah grasslands and the plains of the Rift Valley. You will stop at the Great Rift Valley view point for photography shorty after which you will continue the journey to the park. Upon your arrival to the Park, you will check in accommodation just in time for lunch. After the refreshment, you will then head out for an evening game drive, expect to see various wildlife species to include: giant elephants, hippopotamus, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes and so many more.

After collecting full day memories, we return to accommodation for dinner and overnight stay

Drive Time: 5-6 Hours

Day 2: Full Day Masai Mara National Reserve

This is maiden day to expore Masai Mara Game Reserve, Our morning and afternoon game drives take us in search of Africa’s Big Five and the wide array of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange-tinged sunsets that make for spectacular photos.

Wherever you go in the vast Masai Mara Park you will see plenty of wildlife, such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat-eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffalos, zebras and hippos are also found in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot, but reasonably common.

Considering your planned time to visit (July - August) you should brace yourselves to witness the thrilling Great wildebeest Migration as it happens in the Mara. This natural movement of over 4 million grazers from Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to Masai Mara National Reserve is the sole reason why many visitors opt to come to Masai Mara National Reserve at this time of the year. The adventure is unmatched and considered as one of natural wonders of the world.

• There is an optional cultural visit to the Masaai tribe community within the park, this visit grants you a chance to learn about the Masaai culture, customs, ways of living and their exercising cultural dance.

• Game viewing in Masai Mara Kenya can be enhanced with a hot air ballooning Experience, this can be arranged at an extra cost

Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha

After our early morning breakfast, we check out from lodge or camp in Masai Mara with an exit game drive as we proceed for Lake Naivasha. We arrive accommodation in Naivasha just in time for lunch. After lunch, we take a boat ride to enjoy bird watching and sightings of hippopotamus. Tour shall be followed by a visit to Crescent Island for a guided walking safari. Crescent Island hosts grazers like the Giraffe, Zebra, Impala, Grants Gazelle, Common Waterbuck and Buffalo. After the amazing full day adventure, you will return to accommodation for dinner and overnight stay

Day 4: Hell’s Gate National Park Adventure

After breakfast, we transfer to Hell’s Gate National Park for a cycling safari experience in the wilderness of Hell’s Gate National Park . You can also opt to walk or drive. Hell’s Gate National Park is small and the only national park in Kenya that can be explored by foot or cycle. Resident wildlife include; Giraffe, Zebra, Impala, Grants Gazelle, Warthog and Buffalo. A bicycle ride with sightings of Zebra and Giraffe is a beautiful experience. After collecting half day memories we head to the Hell’s Gate Gorge where our guide will take you through the stories of the gorge and as you trek the mighty gorge. After trekking the gorge, we shall head back to accommodation.

Day 5: Transfer to Nairobi – Flight to Mombasa

Early morning after breakfast we depart Lake Naivasha in the morning and transfer to Nairobi on a 1 hour drive. We arrive Nairobi just in time for our chartered flight to Mombasa. We depart Nairobi arriving Mombasa then transfer to pre-booked accommodation resort along Nyali Beach. Enjoy an evening relaxation along the shoreline of Indian Ocean at Nyali Beach

Day 6: Half Day Mombasa City Tour and Beach Relaxation

We spend the following days enjoying the daylight and the warm Indian Sea at a shoreline resort close to Nyali beach in Mombasa. Mombasa is the second greatest city in Kenya and brags the biggest harbour on the East African coastline. The half day City tour will immerse you in the international history and flavors of this culturally rich city. With its Arabic, Portuguese and Swahili cultures, Mombasa offers busy markets, ethnic neighborhoods and a distinctive heritage to explore not forgetting to take in the ancient structure of Fort Jesus with its incredible history.

After the city tour you will return to beach Hotel for evening relaxation at the beach.

Day 7: Full Day Beach Relaxation

Relax on the sandy beaches and take a plunge within the ocean, taking it simple after our action-packed game viewing in Kenya’s finest Wildlife Reserves. You’ll moreover appreciate optional (additional fetched) activities and water sports in and around Mombasa.

Optional Activities: Cruise on a dhow, swimming with Dolphins kite surfing, sailing, diving, water-skiing, snorkeling and windsurfing.These Optional Activities can also be arranged at an extra cost.

Day 8: Return Flight Mombasa to Nairobi

On the final day of this Masai Mara and Beach Holiday, transfer to airport in Mombasa for your return flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival to Nairobi you can proceed for your scheduled departure flight home to mark the end of our safari.
