3 Days Water Rafting Jinja and Sipi falls Tour

This tour will take you for white water rafting in Jinja, Uganda’s Adventure city, and also visit the source of the Nile. You will spend a full day white water rafting on a stretch of the Nile River comprising of grade 3-5 rapids with major 8 rapids and calm sections to be rafted. We also hike to the top of the falls Sipi and visit a coffee plantation where you will learn how coffee is processed and also enjoy Uganda coffee tasting.

  • DAY 1: TRANSFER FROM KAMPALA TO JINJA

    Jinja town is about 2 hours drive east of Kampala. Your guide will pick you up early morning. Enjoy a two stopover, one at Sezibwa waterfalls, off the main Kampala Jinja highway, and another will at Mabira forest. Time could be still early to have lunch so you continue to Jinja via sugar cane plantations in Lugazi. Once you arrive at your accommodation, you check-in and relax for lunch. You will end the first day with a boat cruise to the source of the River Nile. You may have dinner and overnight.

    DAY 2: WHITE WATER RAFTING ADVENTURE

    Start with breakfast and head to the starting and briefing point. The rafting crew will assist you with proper gear and give a practical safety briefing for your rafting trip. You raft the rapids and a break is allowed for you to catch a breath. Lunch break is available and resumes the rafting to end with BBQ and drinks then drive to sipi falls for check-in at hotel, dinner and overnight.

    DAY 3: SIPI FALLS HIKE AND COFFEE PLANTATION TOUR

    After your breakfast you will drive to visit the falls, you will meet your local guide at sipi who will take you through the history of Sipi falls there by starting this exciting activity with a guided hike to the top of the falls. Later will have a tour through the coffee plantations giving you a chance to learn how coffee is processed with coffee tasting. You will drive back to the lodge for lunch and then continue to Kampala to mark the end of the tour
